The Usonian styled Frank Lloyd Wright House in Ebsworth Park, also known as the Kraus House, was designed in 1950 for Russell and Ruth Kraus and is located just outside of St. Louis, Missouri. It was slowly constructed over the next six years as funds allowed, and was substantially completed in early 1956 when the couple moved in. It was the first Wright house in the St. Louis area and one of only five Wright buildings in the state of Missouri. The Kraus’s retained ownership until 2001 when it was sold to a non-profit organization, The Frank Lloyd Wright House in Ebsworth Park, who are currently overseeing its preservation and providing tours upon appointment. The house has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1997.

In 2022, Harboe Architects led a team of preservation professionals in Phase 1 of a Conservation Management Plan (CMP), which included a condition assessment, a maintenance plan, and the development of restoration and preservation recommendations. Phase 2 started in the Summer of 2023 includes the development of a preservation philosophy and conservation policies, both of which are intended to provide long-term guidance for this important Wright-designed property.
